When You Build it They Will ClickLike0

In the classic baseball movie Field of Dreams we heard, “if you build it they will come.”

Today, an online business is where dreams can become reality for anyone who is ready to build his or her own financial future. Build it and they will click. For example, in 2015, 205 million U.S. citizens were online shoppers. By 2019, that figure is projected to be 224 million.

In 2015 those online U.S. shoppers spent 342.96 billion dollars. By 2019, that spending is projected to grow to 600 billion dollars.

And the U.S. is just one market in a massive online global shopping economy. In fact the U.S. ranks fifth in monthly online shopping frequency. Here are the rankings:

Country                     Percent of consumers shopping
online at least once each month

China                                                 96%

Germany                                           81%

Great Britain                                     81%

India                                                   78%

U.S.                                                    72%

Wherever they live, consumers around the world are drawn to online shopping for the same reasons. It is efficient and convenient. It is easy to find the products they want and compare prices.

Consumers can read reviews and blogs from other customers to learn more about the products. And with no driving to the mall there are no traffic jams, no weather issues, less money spent on gas, and the freedom to shop any time on a computer, tablet, or smart phone.

There are plenty of things in today’s world that make life complicated, frustrating, and stressful. Shopping no longer has to be one of them. This increase in online shopping has of course resulted in a reduction in actual store visits. During the holiday shopping season in 2013 traditional stores had only about one-half the holiday foot traffic as compared to just three years earlier.

For people who no longer see the growth potential they once expected in a traditional career, or see a slow down in their employer’s business, or have already been down-sized or out-sourced from that job they counted on, a home-based online business may be a great option.

Hundreds of millions of customers are already shopping online and spending hundreds of billions of dollars annually. And many international companies that sell the very products consumers want will provide coaching and mentoring to new business owners and even handle functions like inventory, shipping, and billing.

With a relatively small financial investment and the energy you currently invest in someone else’s business you can have your own field of dreams.
